2022: A Year In Review

By: Jade Lake

As we wave goodbye to 2022, I wanted to take this opportunity to look back at our work. It’s been a fantastic year; a lot of challenges, changes, and successes. Our Healing Together facilitators, our Senior Mental Health Leads, our Clinical Supervisees and everyone else in between – your support and hard work is greatly appreciated, so a very big THANK YOU to you all.

Some of our highlights of 2022 include:

  • New Managing Director – An Introduction from Lisa Allen
Since taking the post of Managing Director, I have been getting under the skin of the organisation, talking with the amazing team, and seeing what makes it tick. Together with the Management Team I will work to identify challenges and opportunities for Innovating Minds to grow and increase the impact we have for all’.

  • New Programmes – Expanding Healing Together
We have expanded our library of trauma-informed programmes to provide specialist knowledge and resources of how to support CYP experiencing angry feelings and stress/anxiety.
PLUS…additional programmes coming soon in 2023!

  • Innovating Minds Team Growth – Meet Our Experts
As the business grows, so has the team. The Regional Management team ensure we work strategically in each area to build the network of Healing Together Facilitators. The primary objective is to enable easy access for children and young people, to someone they trust in a place they already feel safe, at the earliest opportunity.

  • UK Social Enterprise Awards – A Winning End
Innovating Minds CIC has won the Health and Social Care Award at the UK Social Enterprise Awards – the biggest celebration of the UK’s social enterprise sector.
A huge well done to the team and thank you for your hard work!

And now we look towards 2023 and the exciting things yet to come. We will continue to work hard and making an impact and are very much looking forward to the continued support from all of you.

Thank you!

Happy New Year! 🍾🎊
